This picture taken 14 May 2007 shows shoes designed in 1953 by Dior as part of an exhibition in the house where Christian Dior was born in Granville, on the Normandy coast. Christian Dior, who transformed the face of fashion with the New Look, and his protege Yves Saint Laurent, were pivotal figures in 20th century fashion. The exhibition at the Christian Dior museum and garden at Villa "les Rhumbs" in Granville is open until 23 September 2007. The house Dior was founded 60 years ago.
