Sarus crane

Sarus crane (Grus antigone) standing on one leg. This is the world's tallest flying bird, with males measuring up to 1.8 metres tall and having a wing span of nearly 3 metres. The sarus crane is found inhabiting the wetlands of India, southeast Asia and Australia. It is an opportunistic feeder and will eat virtually anything, from plants and insects to small mammals and carrion. Cranes usually sleep standing on one leg
