Prince Charles (or Carl) of Denmark, later King Haakon VII, King of Norway, and Princess Maud of Wales (1869-1938), youngest daughter of Edward VII and Queen Alexandra (the latter is standing behind them). Photographed at the time of their marriage in 1896 -- the wedding took place on 22 July in the private chapel of Buckingham Palace. They were first cousins. Date: July 1896
