Soccer - World Cup Footballs - Wakefield, Yorkshire
Approximately four footballs can be made from this hide held up by Arnold Goldthorpe at Slazenger's tannery in Yorkshire. Slazenger's Challenge 25 Panel football has been selected for all matches in the 1966 World Cup and comes in three colours - orange for daylight, and white and yellow for floodlit games. Each football will be made from the finest cowhide processed in the company's own tannery in Yorkshire, and hand-stitched by experienced craftsmen.
