British Transport - Road - Cars - Novelty - London - 1981
The housing problem for Tim Pennefather and Julie hayes, who are to be married on August 29th, was solved for a day by the intervention of a building society manager. When he heard of their plight - they have been 'gazumped' five times so far - that Tim would not have a 'threshold' to carry Julie over on their big day, he arranged the car for just a day. The brickwork and curtains almost make up for the fact that the couple have had so little success in house hunting.Their searches have been centred on the Surrey area where they work but there is still no roof and the wedding date looms at Julie's home town of Farnley Tyas, near Huddersfield.
